FAQ

What is enchanting in My Anime Mine?
Enchanting is one of the game's official damage upgrades — the system that consumes Enchanted Dice to push your crew's power beyond levels and pickaxes. The official game description lists enchanting alongside upgrades, new pickaxes and mutations as the damage ladder.
What do Enchanted Dice do?
They are the enchanting system's input item. You currently get at least six free from active codes (BLUEMOON, LifeIsRoblox ×2, SOULFORGE, STORM, EnchantedStrength). Exact enchant outcomes are visible only in game.
What are mutations in My Anime Mine?
Mutations are the luck-driven upgrade layer named in the official game description. Mutation Luck Potions boost your odds around it — the MUTATIONLUCK code gives one free.
How do you get more dice and potions?
Codes are the free source — new ones drop roughly with the game's weekly updates, so re-check the codes page after each update. Beyond codes, watch the in-game shop and event rewards; the official channels are the source of truth.
Should I use items on starter characters?
Spend Strength Potions and elixirs freely (they are session boosts), but hold permanent enchants for characters worth the cost — the deeper your roster, the better each enchant target. Early on, one good enchant on an active miner beats spreading dice thin.

What are enchanting and mutations?

They are the game’s item-driven power layer, named explicitly in the official description: crew damage grows through levels, new pickaxes, enchanting and mutations. Levels and pickaxes are bought with cash; enchanting and mutations consume items — and that is the whole strategic difference. Items are scarce, code-rewarded, and worth planning around. Six active codes currently hand out every item type in the system, free (codes page).

This guide covers each item, what it feeds, and the spending discipline that gets the most from scarce resources.

The item dictionary (all five, verified)

Every item in the current code rewards maps to a system:

ItemSystem it feedsCurrently free from
Enchanted DiceEnchanting — permanent power pushesBLUEMOON, LifeIsRoblox (×2), SOULFORGE, STORM, EnchantedStrength
Summon ScrollCollection — summons a characterSOULFORGE, STORM
Strength PotionSession boost to strengthEnchantedStrength
Mutation Luck Potion IMutations — luck around the systemMUTATIONLUCK
Ore Elixir IISession boost to ore incomeBLUEMOON

Exact effect values (how much luck, how much strength, what multiplier) are only visible in game when you use them — we note quantities honestly rather than inventing numbers, and flag where sources disagree (the potion count behind MUTATIONLUCK, for instance).

Enchanting: spending dice well

Enchanted Dice convert into enchanting power on your crew. Since dice are scarce, target selection is everything:

  • Enchant characters that stay. A starter miner you will replace soon is a waste of a permanent enchant; a strong, regularly-assigned crew member is a good one.
  • One solid enchant beats three thin ones. Concentrating dice on your best active miner shows up in your break speed faster than spreading them.
  • Sync with your zone. Before entering a deeper zone (see how to dig deeper), an enchant push can be the difference between “rock laughs at you” and “rock pays you”.

If you have not redeemed the six active codes yet, do that first — that is currently a minimum of six dice waiting in your inventory.

Mutations: the luck system

Mutations are the second documented power layer, and luck is their currency: Mutation Luck Potions exist specifically to improve your odds around the system. Practical guidance is short because the system is luck-shaped:

  • Use luck potions when you are about to do mutation-relevant actions, not before logging off.
  • The free MUTATIONLUCK potion from codes is a zero-risk way to see the system work.
  • Treat mutation outcomes like ore rarity: attempts scale with play, luck improves the margins.

Scrolls, potions and elixirs: the spending-easy items

The other three items are session-scoped, which makes their use simple:

  • Summon Scrolls — summon when you want roster depth now. Waiting for a “perfect moment” buys nothing (see the characters guide).
  • Strength Potions — burn them during long mining sessions; their boost does nothing in your inventory.
  • Ore Elixir II — same principle: activate it when you are about to mine for a while, not for a two-minute stop (making money covers the income stack).

The scarcity discipline

Items are the slowest-regenerating resource in the game, so the meta-rule for all of them:

  1. Free first — redeem every active code before every session; new codes land with weekly updates.
  2. Permanent items on keepers — dice and enchants on long-term crew.
  3. Temporary items without guilt — potions and elixirs exist to be used; sessions are their expiry.

Keep that discipline and the item layer quietly outpaces cash-only players: their damage stack has four layers, yours has five (see the pickaxes guide for the full stack).
